Plaksha University

With a focus on future technologies in higher education, Bharti Airtel Foundation has entered into a strategic collaboration with Plaksha University in Mohali—a collective philanthropic venture founded by leading technology entrepreneurs, business leaders, and corporates. This partnership with a world-class institution aims to provide infrastructure support and scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Additionally, every year, 20 exceptional students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds are awarded the fully funded Bharti Scholarship to pursue full-time tech courses at Plaksha University.

Bharti Airtel Foundation’s support for infrastructure development includes the construction of the Bharti Academic Building, which comprises a multi-purpose hall, classrooms, boardroom, VC office, Dean’s office, and administrative/faculty offices—playing a central role in student life at Plaksha.

Bharti Airtel Scholarship: Each year, up to 20 deserving students are awarded the Bharti Scholarship, which includes a tuition fee waiver and financial support for hostel and meals, based on need.
