Visit of Hon’ble Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan to Satya Elementary School, Khanpur, Ludhiana

We were honoured to welcome Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of India, and Shri Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Co-Chairman, Bharti Airtel Foundation, to Satya Elementary School, Khanpur (Ludhiana, Punjab) on November 12, 2025. Established in 2006, Satya Bharti School, Khanpur, is part of the flagship Satya Bharti School Program of the Bharti Airtel Foundation, which provides free, quality education – including textbooks, uniforms, and mid-day meals – to children in rural India.

During the visit, the dignitaries interacted warmly with students and teachers, witnessed innovative learning in action at the Robotics Lab, and appreciated student-led social projects that have earned external recognition. They encouraged the children to pursue their education with dedication, curiosity, and discipline, reminding them that through knowledge and hard work, they have the power to shape the nation’s future. The visit concluded with a community interaction and tree plantation ceremony, symbolising our shared commitment to sustainability, learning, and growth.

The Hon’ble Minister shared his appreciation for the school, noting that he was deeply impressed by the quality of education and infrastructure, and that the school’s approach is well aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) and at par with leading public and private institutions.
